How to use the word "apparently"?

What is the definition of "apparently"? Could someone gives me some sentence using the word "apparently" so that I can have a better idea?

My mom had asked me to take out the trash, but apparently someone had already done it for me when I got there. Apparently, my father had take it out for me. Apparently, they only allow women in the ladies' restroom because only women go in there.

Hi,
My mom had asked me to take out the trash, but apparently someone had already done it for me when I got there. This suggests that the trash seemed to be out, but you were not sure if it was out.

Apparently, my father had take it out for me. This sentence suggests that the trash was out, but you were not sure if it was your father who put it out.

Yes. Dad took out the trash.

Not like this:

Apparently, dad took out the garbage. (This
