How to use "suspect" or "doubt"?

i know the difference in meaning between these two words but i don't know how they are used in writing.

sometimes I see people saying "i doubt/suspect if ...." , or "i doubt/suspect that..."

can anyone give me detailed example on how to use these two words correctly. Thank you very much

These words (when they are verbs) seem to be similar in meaning, but they are not used in the same way. They are not synonymous and you could not substitute one for the other in a sentence. Here are some examples of usage (note that although each pair of sentences means more or less the same thing, you can't substitute one word for the other in them): I doubt that he'll be at the party.
