How to use rather and wonder

1. Hi...... I dont know how to use "Rather" and "Wonder" can anybody explain me in little detail with some examples please.. it is really appreciated if somebody replies to my question....

3. more properly or justly; with better reason: The contrary is rather to be supposed.
