how to use "to" with "bring"

Please read these sentences: ( I think they are all correct)

1. Tom brought Jim a book.

2. Tom brought a book to Jim.

3. Tom brought to Jim a book with colorful pictures on the cover.

How should I use this "to" ? Can I say "Tom brought Jim a book with colorful pictures on the cover" ?

Thanks!

Yes. #1 and #2 are fine, but #3 is not; delete the to in your third sentence, as you have done in your suggested alternative.
