How to use "reminisce" in a sentence?

Could someone give me a few examples of how to best use the word "reminisce".

Roy and I ate the meal and reminisce about the trip.

I don't like reminiscing because it makes me feel old.

So I guess it's safe to say reminisce does not mean the same thing as "reminds me of".

AshamInstead of saying " reminds me of ", how could I rephrase it by putting in "reminisce" in the mix? Is it possible?
