how to use "precedence" !!!

Hello everyone I've seen more examples for this word but I can't understand it's conjunction yet
I mean I know whose conjunction is (precedence over sb/sth), am I right ?
if so but I saw some examples Like this :

1-his desire for power soon took precedence over any other consideration

2-a right to preferential treatment I take precedence over you

I'm not good enough in English to understand this please guide me

I was close to forget my another question and it's about "priority"
what this usage too ?

I need help understand these word as well

You can say 'take precedence' or 'take priority'. It's the same idea. Anything that takes precedence comes first or comes before something else.

If I take precedence over you, I go first and you go after me; I am more important than you and you are not as important as me.

please see my sentences and if it have a mistake then please revise it  , it's about  precedence word:

1-our home build time antedates the your promotion at your last job
2- create process of the our world is antedates the branching nations,I mean world create take precedence over branching nations and ...............

please revise above sentences if they have mistak

These have nothing to do with "take precedence". "precede" or "antedate" is not the same as "take precedence".

I intended to write above sentences in literary form

You can't. That wouldn't make sense. 'antedate' and 'take precedence' have such different meanings that they cannot be combined in your sentences.
