How to use 'off'?

Hi everybody,

Could you please tell me whether I can use 'off' with electronic devices to mean that it is not working?

1) My cell phone is off all day today.

2) My computer is off all day today.

3) The TV set is off all day today.

Are the following sentences correct?

4) The service is off for the next two hours. (to mean service will not available for the next 2hours)

6) The college will be off for the next two days. (to mean holidays for the next 2 days)

Thank you
