How to use it

Few days back i had heard a sentence like: i have had......
i don't know whether it is gramatical mistake or it is correct.
if it is correct then plz somebody tell me how to use it.

Are you familiar with the present perfect?

I have espresso chip ice cream in my freezer right now. (Present)

I had espresso chip ice cream at Mary's house. (Past)

I have had espresso chip ice cream before. (Present Perfect)

I have had a headache since early this morning [started in past & continues].

He has had three love affairs in the last six months [perhaps more to come].
