How to use "either" ?

Hi! Everyone!
I understand the usage of "either"(negative) and "too" (positive)
For example:

Q: Are you an engineer? And what about Andy?
A: I am, and Andy is too.
or
A: I'm not an engineer. Andy isn't either.

but how about if I want to mention that I am not an engineer, and at the same time I have not idea whether Andy is or not?such that:
"I'm not an engineer but I have no idea if Andy isn't either."
<=is that correct? if not, can you help me to rephrase the sentence and must also use the word "either" ?

Thanks!
