How to use Depending in a sentence?

Is this correct? Do I have to give 2 options when I use depending?
Points or not and whether easy or hard.

I'll get lots of points or not depending on whether I play against easy or hard opponents.

Anonymous Do I have to give 2 options when I use depending? I don't think it is necessary as the same meaning is conveyed without it. I would put it this way: The points I win depends on the players I play against.
