How to use an apporiate preposition

Hi, I just come up with this sentence, but my thought was going to make it one with preposition instead of conjuuctioning the two sentences.

- I took a medicine and it made me sleepy

I want to turn this into : I feel sleepy after (on, with, from) the medicine.

if I want to mean '' i am sleepy beacause i took a medicine'', then '' from'' is okay, right?

Can you give me all the possible prepositions fit for above?

Thanks

Hi. Medicine is one of those words that rarely needs an article. - I took a medicine and it made me sleepy - I took medicine and it made me sleepy With regard to prepositions, perhaps: I feel sleepy after/from taking (the/that) medicine.
