It seems there was probably an experiment in which Modern Era people were tested on their ability to do things with only the means available to early cultures, say 12,000 years ago. Those modern people who participated in that experiment apparently found it sort of easy to do things (like hunting, farming, fishing, building, transporting, etc.) the way those pre-historic societies did them.
