How to title "sub-summaries"?
In describing a complex process I wish to include a summary of key ideas every x steps (e.g "summery so far") What is the proper way to title such text?

It depends on how you are going to do it. Maybe divide the actual steps into "stages" (Stage 1, Stage 2, etc.) and simply call it "Summary" within each stage or "Stage X Summary".
