How to thank somebody formally

Hi,
Could you tell me some formal ways of thanking somebody?
Should I say:
- We would like to show our thanks to ACB company, our sponsor...
- We would like to express our thanks to ABC company, ...
- We would like to formally thank...

Which of these above is the most formal? And is there any more formal way of thanking somebody?

Thank you very much,
Nessie Emotion: smile

Hi Nessie, For the first two, I would use "appreciation" rather than "thanks" so something like- We would like to show our appreciation towards ABC Company for their sponsorship of.... with (a gift) The three ways you suggested works! )

Hi Nessie,

For the first two, I would use "appreciation" rather than "thanks" so something like-

We would like to show our appreciation towards ABC Company for their sponsorship of.... with (a gift)
We would like to express our appreciation towards ABC Company for their sponsorship of....with (a gift)

The three ways you suggested works!
