How to tell male or female by name

Hi,
I have difficulty to tell if a person is a male or female by the first name. Is there any website that tells whether a name is of male or female?

Try the last name, or even the middle name:).
When I have to address a letter to such a person, I use the entire name.

The most difficult (and embarrasing) situation is when you can't tell the *** of a person by voice, on the telephone.

Good question, but we don't need a website to answer it. Few people are neither male nor female. The corollary of that statement is that most people are male or

Given a few of the news stories I've read over the years, I'd'a thought it was not being able to tell in person, even after saying "I do".

There is no completely reliable way to do this just from a first name, because so many are used bisexually.
