How to teach there isn't and there arent'

I don't know whether is good or not to teach 'not' or directly the contracted version 'n't'.. I have to teach there isn't and there aren't and I don't know how to begin with it.. It is better to contrast it with there is and there are?
Please someone can help me?
Thaks!

Hello, Melina - and welcome to English Forums. It is good to teach the contracted (unstressed) and uncontracted (stressed) forms, both affirmative and negative, all together. Mix them around freely, because that's how learners will meet them in real life.
