A relevant question:

I know we use "sometimes" to mean 'once in while' or 'at times' and 'some time' refers to a certain amount of time. Can we, however, use 'sometime'? If yes, could you please state a few examples?

Thanks

No, they have different meanings, Fariha.

Sometimes = occasionally
Sometime = at an unspecified time
Some time = an unspecified length of time

Oh I remember now!

e.g. I'll let you know sometime in the future.

Is that right?

Hi Goodman,

Your explanation:

Some times should be used as a noun phrase, that is when using ‘time’ as a noun.

The doctor gave me some times when I could come in for an appointment.
There were some times last week when it rained really hard.
May I know if "some times" means a few times?

Thank you.

Some times does mean a number of specific times. For example: 10:00 Monday morning, 6:00 Friday evening, 1:00 Thursday afternoon. These are some times when I like to go for a walk.
