Essay & Composition Writing

How to start?

Dear Friends
Could you please help me with this? I want to ask a distinguished professor to find an appropriate publisher but I want to do this in a completely formal and polite way. I just don't know how to start.
Could you please suggest some phrases or sentences?
I really appreciate your help.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Nikoo, Asking a professor for his opinion is often a good way to start. Offering a few alternatives (particularly journals in which he has been published) is also a polite and formal approach. Dear Professor Einstein, I (we) would like to solicit your opinion on which journal you feel is best suited to publish our manuscript.

  • The International Journal of Relatives and Quantum Mechanics both have high impact factors, but we would like your perspective and advice on other possibilities.
