How to say this correctly.

Is Matthew around you? Can you please call him on the phone?

Is this is correct way?
If not then what?
and what grammertical errors are there?

The situation is, suppose I'm talking to James and after I'm done I want to talk to Matthew but I don't know whether he is there or not with James? So I'm asking James if he's there hand him the phone.
