How to say this ?

Folks,

Think that, i am on my official trip to some nation, and just after landing there and reaching to office..

Someone is asking me : When did you arrive ?

Me : I just landed today, and immediately after that, i had to come to office.

Does this sounds good ? or is there any other way i can say this ?

Hi James: I'd say one of these: I landed earlier today and had to come directly from the airport to the office. After landing earlier today, I came directly to the office. Regards, A- s
