How to say the following in natural english?

1. He wears plus(or minus) power eye glasses.
2..I am not seeing well with my glasses .So I will have to see an eye doctor , and get the power corrected.

Sorry to bother you again. If I have to specify that he wears convex lenses and not concave ones how would I do that in common conversational English? As you have indicated already "He wears plus power eyeglasses" is not natural. Could you tell me a natural alternative for that?
