how to say my skin is tanned.?

How to express the idea that my skin is scotched by the sun, and my skin color becomes more black (dark ) after exposure to sun.

1. My skin is tanned by the sun.
2. My skin is burned by the sun. And it became tan.

I don't know what to say. Could you please teach me?
