A: As far as I know Diego Maradona is the head coach of Argentina national team.
B: Oh really, is he??? I don't think so...
A: I guess he is. How do you think I found out about him? I didn't know him before.

What the person was trying to say was that she didn't know who Diego Maradona was. Once she heard the team had a new coach she started reading about Maradona.
