How to say in this situation

I wanna tell my colleague that the local client application cannot connect to the remote server and so I cannot do any test for files changed by me. I have written to him the following messages:
"I modified two files for resolving the issue. I cannot connect to the server now, so I will test the changed code when the connection is available.". But it seems inappropriate. Can anyone help me to say it more properly?

Hi Leslie! I can suggest you my version: "I modified two files for resolving the issue. But I can't test it because client application can't connect to server.

  • " It's almost same as yours but I made an accent on the fact that client application can't connect to the server but not you

or you can also say,

I finished work on the files, but I have no access to the server now. Once access is restored, I will test the changed code and let you know about the result.
