How to request an extra week for a deadline.
Hi
Will you check if the writing below sounds fine? I've never written this kind of piece before so I'm quite not sure how I should say it. Any advice would be appreciated.
I apologize for this request, but I would like to have an extra week for the deadline. So far I had no day off and am spending my whole days for your project, yet I'm a bit behind the schedule. The renewed deadline would be on 4th of January for the first draft, and on 23rd for the project completion if you were OK with it.
