How to reply on a complaint letter

Dear All,

I have received a compaint letter for the client stating that the schedule is delayed, i have replied on his letter showing all the excuses. but i want to end the letter by something nice to make him feel better

Here is a suggetion: Dear XYZ, Please accept my sincere apology for the shipment delay.
