how to reply a call letter? Please!

Hi,

I received a call letter from embassy to confirm them my intended date of travel. What sort of reply should be? The point is too short to write. Should I add some extra information like, why I'm delaying my travel to two month? Please also tell me these info should be as "subject" or write at the end of letter below name?

Passport number: OT4101125
BHC Reference: 65897
Gerry's International Ref: GRY-LH-01-0022-X

Thanks for any help,

Mansour
