How to remember a English word?

I cannot remember english word,i will forget after a short time,who can help me?thanks!

Hi Kevin Well, almost all have this problem. I have experianced this with my students, because they also find it hard to memorize words. The only way I can advise you is to formulate sentences with those words and link them with any incident/event or just put it in the context.

Chat with the people in EF. They will help you a lot.

You'd better read a lot. Reading helps much. Read books which you like most of all, of course in English and try to discuss them with one of your friends, certainly again in English. This will help you in self expression, fluency and accuracy.

Speaking from the perspective of the latest science, our brains work in their highest rate especially when we are feeling pain, depressed or annoyed, as people tend to well remember their miserable experience rather than happy one.
