How to refer to groups of people in letters

I know that if you are writing a letter to Mr x, and want to refer to his wife in the same sentence, what is the correct order.

Is it 'I note that you and your wife' would like to visit or

'I note that your wife and you' would like to visit.

I know if you refer to yourself you put the writer at the end e.g my wife and I
