how to read these numbers?

I notice the numbers in some proper nouns are pronounced in a distinctive way such as 007 reads double o seven, xbox360 reads xbox three sixty.

I want to know how to pronounce 256MB ram, Presario 3800 (a laptop model) and is there any rules to this?
