How to read hotel room numbers

Rm 1111 , should I say,

eleven-eleven? OR

one-one-one-one OR

one thousand one hundred and eleven OR

quad one

Rm 1113

triple one three OR

one one one three OR

eleven thirteen OR

one thousand one hundred and thirteen OR

Rm 1212

twelve-twelve OR

one two one two OR

one thousand two hundred and twelve

Also for telephone numbers

eg.

008-1111-2222

should I say doulbe oh hyphen eight- one one one one hyphen twelve twelve ??

Please tell me the usual and correct saying?

Here's what I'd say.

Rm 11 , should I say,

eleven-eleven? OR

one-one-one-one OR

one thousand one hundred and eleven OR

quad one

Just say 'room eleven'.



If it is 1111, say 'eleven eleven'



Rm 1113

triple one three OR

one one one three OR

eleven thirteen OR

I say eleven thirteen, etc. (I assume the first one should say 1111, not 11).

For the phone numbers (they are in a different format where I live) you don't say the word "hyphen" -- you just pause. Double-oh-eight [pause slightly] eleven twenty-two.

Edit: Oops, Clive was faster. I would add that saying the numbers the way he suggested is also common here too.
