"How to pronounce your name?"

"How to pronounce your name?" - this sentence is marked "wrong" in my test and I understand that it's wrong (I would say: "How do you pronounce your name?") but I don't understand why it's wrong.
I would be greatful if somebody gave me an explanation =)

Anonymous I don't understand why it's wrong. If it's supposed to be a complete sentence, then it's wrong because it's not a complete sentence. It's just a noun phrase.

  • It needs more to make it a complete sentence -- for example, one of these: I would like to know how to pronounce your name.
