How to pronounce this hideous acronym?
Really sorry to bother you with a "tech speak" question ...
The whole story is as follows.
A friend of mine, who is a radio engineer, asked me i I knew how to pronounce the acronym "altBOC".
I have searched the internet high and low but couldn't find the answer. I have only found out that "altBOC" stands for "alternative binary offset carrier (modulation)".
Could somebody please share with me their thoughts as to how to pronounce this hideous "altBOC" ... just off the top of your head?
