How to pronounce the -er endings

0According to what it's kown as British accent, how am I supposed to pronounce words than end in -er (e.g. driver)?, like a kind of open "a" without pronouncing the "r"?02br

0Hi Anon,02br 02br 00It depends on the British accent. In RP, and most south-eastern English accents, 'er' in a word-final position is realised as a schwa (except for when the following word begins with a vowel sound). 02br 02br 00Englishuser0-

0 I just read something yesterday that said that in Heightened/Conservative RP, if the following word begins with a vowel, the r is pronounced as a flap. 0-
