How to pronounce "I'd + Past Verb"

should I prounce "I'd" like "ied" in "tried"?

If the work comes next to "I'd" is something like "lived,"

does that indicate that I have to pronounce "ied" sound twice?

or can I skip the second "ied" sound and just say I'd live(d)?

The sound of "I'd" is like the "ied" in "tried," yes.
But the sound in "lived" is not the same sound.

I had tried = I'd tried -- the two words will rhyme.
