How to pronounce "films" ?

I've learend to pronounce "films" as "filmz" ends in 'z' voice sound.

I've really tried to hear like that but it kept hearing like "film's" ends in 's' voiceless sound.

Could anyone tell me the exactly proper pronunciation and the reason?

Thanks~~~

Here in Canada I pronounce it 'filmz', with a voiced 'z' sound. I've never heard a native english speaker end 'films' with a voiceless 's'. I hope this helps!

If you know how to pronounce z, practice "uhmzzzz", "uhmzz", "uhmz", etc.

Why? Vowels are voiced, so is /m/. Because of this, /s/ gets voiced: /z/

We sometimes stop voicing before we've finished sounding the whole /z/ on some endings, so it may seem to you, depending on the speaker you're listening to, that it's an /s/. It's really a /z/ that devoices rapidly to /s/ for a millisecond, then stops compl
