How to pronounce "cherished ties" and have a smooth pronunciation?
As a non-native speaker, I always have trouble pronouncing some combinations of words. Among many difficulties include when one word is ended with the sound 't' and is followed by the next word also starting with the 't' sound. For instance, 'cherished ties'. Thank you very much for you answer. At first, I thought I should pronounce it with two separate 't' sounds but make the transition very subtle. I think it's more natural to just combine the two t's together.
