How to pronounce "/"?

I heard someone saying "full slash"..is it correct?
so.."\" is slash and "/" is "full slash"??

mhmm..I think what I heard my be "forward slash"..rather than "full slash"...They sound similar you know...

/ slash OR forward slash
\ back slash OR backward slash

Once in a great while I hear 'slant' instead of 'slash' in these expressions.

Another word for a slash / is a virgule. But I've never heard anyone say this.
