How to prepare a reflection letter to self

I am requested to prepare a reflection letter of 2 to 3 pages to a course. This is the last assignment to submit. The letter is addressed to myself reflecting on the course taken. I need to support my assertions by making 2 references using APA format. Shall I use the references within the text of the letter. Any advise where to put the references.
