how to praise a real "good" question?

In Q&A after a presentation, when someone asks a question that the speaker feels difficult to answer, s/he may say first: it's a good question.
My question is that, when the speaker truly wants to praise it is a good, right-to-point question, what could the speaker say?
(It is a well-asked question? sounds odds?)
Thanks very much in advance!

There's really nothing wrong with saying 'That's a good question'. You could also say eg That's an excellent / interesting / perceptive / thoughtful question. Not 'well-asked'.
