How to make it more native-like no. 33

Hello All,

Would you please be so kind as to help me make this post more native-like? Are there any mistakes here? E-PL1 is a camera produced by Olympus by the way. I think this paragraph sounds a bit awkward, rigid and the sentences are not well-connected. I think in some sentences I shouldn't have used I and the in so many places.

I got my E-PL1 a year ago so it's not old at all. Yesterday I was doing a bit of hiking and taking some pictures and I noticed something a bit disturbing. When switching to the P-mode the camera starts acting weird, as if it had a life of its own. It actually behaves as if it was in the SCN mode instead of the P-mode! A while after changing modes the screen flicks once or twice, for a second I can see the screen with all different SCN settings (Portrait, Landscape, Sunset, Beach, Snow etc) and then the screen flicks again. Has anyone had similar problems with E-PL1 or any other E-series camera?

Thanks a million

Thanks.

I've got a question though... Why did you use the past tense? Don't we use the present simple tense if we talk about things that repeat themselves?
