How to make it more English?

Hi everybody, could you please make the following paragraph more English. Although I guess there are not many grammatical errors, the paragraph is not really like that written by native English speakers.

I am really honored to get an admission letter from the University of S and will be supervised by Dr. L, who has promised to fund me $1500 per month. In addition to this, I have also deposited $20, 000 to cover possible expenditures during the period of my PhD study. The deposit comes from my personal savings. Actually I have worked at the Faculty of Computer and Information since July 2002. The income details in the last three years are as follows.

Thank you very much!
