How to keep it simple?

Hello!

Yesterday I received a message from my dearest friend. As I'm learning English as my second language, I read it closely twice and looked all the words I don't know up in a dictionary. However, I still feel the need of your informative explanations. I actually want to learn what you get from the text below? Could you please tell me about it in a simpler English?

Vince:

(( Bay )) My joy increases as I read your notes. . . . It is cold here in the sunroom, but that fiery love and light shedding orb approaches from the east, teasing through the budding trees and catches the corner of my eye, probing , flicking the switch of my thoughts towards you, my friend, in that same direction, under that same sun. The tiny birds trill loudly from their tree tops in greeting to each other. The day has begun.

He is just describing the picture of a sunrise in words.
The sun is fiery love and light and reminds him of you. You live to his east.
