How to hyphenate dates

I'm writing my cv and I want to know how to hyphenate dates. Do write them with gaps or no gaps, e.g.

June 2013-July 2014

Or

June 2013 - July 2014

Top answer

anonymous June 2013 - July 2014 I would put spaces because the elements you are connecting on either side have a space in them. It makes it clearer to read. For formal writing, use an n-dash instead of a hyphen: June 2013 – July 2014.
