Topic: In developing countries, children in rural communties have less access to eduction. Some people think that the problem can be solved by providing more schools and teachers , while others think that the problem can be solved by providing computers and internet access.Discuss both views and give your opinion. Nowadays, an increasing number of people are concerned about the phenomenon that how to improve access to education for children in remote areas. One argument put forward in favour of that the best solution to tackle this problem is to establishe new schools and employ more teachers , but others believe that the provision of computer and the Internet will be able to cope with the issue. In this essay, i will examine both sides of the problem , and state my own perspective. On the one hand, there are some reasons can support why people think that building more schools and hiring teachers are considered the right way to have more educational opportunities for children. Firstly, school is society in miniature where, besides providing an ideal learning environment for study, it also functions as meeting place for children to learn precious lessons of collaborating and socialisming with other people, maintains the discipline of students through regular attendance. Secondly, there is no denying the fact that teachers play a fundamental role in the comprehensive development of the student. At school, student's development us orchestrated stage by stage, step by step by experienced teachers, and their acquisition of knowledge is guided and backed up in a systematic way. Furthermore, teachers are capable of evaluating the strengths and weaknessess of each learner in order to orient idividual career in the long run. On the other hand, i side with that expanding the Internet network and supplying computers for children in mountainous areas enable them to gain chances to approach eaducation. Firstly, this helps to burden student's time because, instead of meeting face to face at classes, students can still participate in study programs with a computer connected through Internet, or can work with teachers through emails. This idea would seem more feasible than sending teachers to remote regions to teach. Another reason is that the computer can be a useful learning tool with educational software which contain a lot self-studied courses as well as a gaint source of knowledged with a small fee , or without. In conclusion , with the preliferation of technology, it seems to me that it is best to take advantage of computers and the Internet forward having access to education, instead of spending too much costs on building schools and paying for teachers.
