How to handle students

Hi, I'm anna.
I'm teaching TEFL in Indonesia. The biggest problem I always face is I'm usually stuck in finding appropriate technique in teaching my students that most of them are not familiar with English, and they tend to be lazy either to find the word meaning from dictionary or think and guess the new word they find.
