How to form questions about adverbs

How does she sing? - She sings beautifully

or She sometimes goes to bed at 10.00?>>>What is the question here? Is it "How aftern....?"

Rather than just one way, there are a number of ways to ask questions here. eg

How often does she go to bed at 10pm?

Does she ever go to bed at 10pm?

Does she go to bed late? or even Does she go to bed early? ('Late' and 'early' are subjective terms.)

What time does she go to bed?

It really depends on what the speaker is wondering about.

Thus, in a case like this, it's difficult to speak of 'rules'.

Well, if I can help in any way, I would suggest you try not to word your questions in ways such as "How does she sing?" This may confuse people, because it sounds like you are asking someone about how she is able to sing so well. Also, it just doesn't sound correct. You may try rewording it to something like "Does she sing well?" or "Is she a good singer?"

As for the sentence: "She sometimes goes to bed at 10.00?", the question is implied in Intonation (the variation of pitch when speaking.), or in the way that one would say that sentence. There are not any specific "question words" in this question. It is not often that you hear sentences phrased as such. This is also somewhat of a strange sounding sentence, and you may want to change it to something like "Does she sometimes go to bed at 10.00?", or "Is it true that she sometimes goes to bed at 10.00?"

Well, I can see your point. When we teach adverbs to students, we use sentences similar to"She sometimes goes to bed at 10.00" so they can notice the adverb. then we ask them to write a question about it "the adverb". What I wanted to know is if there is ruls for forming such questions, and now I know that their are not. So I'm pleased for your respond and help.
