How to find a good proofreader for my paper?

I have a 20 page paper and I like this paper to be proofread. Do you guys know some excellent and cheap proofreaders or websites where to find these people.

Steve, you will have a hard time finding both "excellent" and "cheap." A good proofreader will charge you a minimum of $25 US per hour. If it's TRULY proofreading, you might get that, but if you really need copy editing, then plan on a minimum of $40. I wouldn't do it for any less than that myself.

My understanding, Englishuser, is that if you are providing information that you yourself have found valuable, you can provide the link, providing the intention is not, as you have said, to advertise. Steve asked for help, and you are providing it, friend to friend. I would assume that if you are posting it, you feel confident in the integrity of the person you are referring him to and the
