How to express this ONE sentence please?

Lets say you have 10 tasks to do during the day. Every time you are done with a task, You highlight it with a different color highlighter.

How would you say:

- Use the color highlighter that you haven't used in the longest.

- You highlight it with a different color highlighter.

To make you understand what I'm getting at:

TASK 1 highlighted in red

TASK 2 highlighted in yellow

TASK 3 highlighted in pink

TASK 4 highlighted in purple

TASK 5 for task 5 you want to use the highlighter you haven't used in the longest time which is RED.

TASK 6
TASK 7
TASK 8
TASK 9

TASK 10

Thank you so much
