How to express this idea?

Can I say that men should take care of women, because women are generally physically weaker than men. For example, if you're sitting in a bus with no empty seats and a pregnant woman is looking for a seat, I think men should feel obliged to spare his seat to the pregnant woman.

I know the paragraph I wrote doesn't sound good, but at least my idea should get across well, right? Can anyone please tell me some better words/phrases that can make it sound better?
